Coral Pink Sands State Park, in Utah, is extremely photogenic...especially in the late afternoon. Just 30 minutes from Kanab, this is a great place to take non-photographers along because no compensation is necessary for the dark sand, so anybody can snap great-looking AE shots without worries. The closer to sundown, the pinker the sand gets.
